The AMA’s Office of Group Practice Services, will host a
webconference entitled, ‘Denials Management, Winning the Battle of Low Pays, No
Pays and Stall Tactics’ on Thursday, July 31 at 12 pm CDT (1 pm EDT/11 am
MDT/10 am PDT). The session will focus
on the variability of denials across the US, brought about from increased costs
as a result of third-party payer requirements.
The program will address “silent PPOs,” downcoding and other payer
practices to help identify key areas of impact as well as improvement processes
to enhance revenue.
Crystal S. Reeves, CMPE, CPC, from The Coker Group, will
serve as the speaker for the session and will provide examples on how to to
interpret claim denial patterns as well as help in translating the information
into denial prevention strategies. The
program is scheduled for 90 minutes.
